He is also interested in professional ethics, housing and construction technology. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur. He has many years of professional and teaching experiences. He tries to combine academics and practice. He works closely with students to ensure better results. His vast experience in the field helps students to understand the world in a better way. Ar. Vivekanand Bhuinya
Assistant Professor
Vivekanand Bhuinya takes deep interest in basic design principles, environment and construction. He completed his post-graduation from IIT Kharagpur in 2013. He has worked on residential projects in Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Chaibasa and Chakradharpur, small hospital project in Chakradharpur, town planning works in Jamshedpur for last seven years. He channels the learning from architectural projects to his teachings at RRSA. He believes in hands-on approach and works with students to encourage them in team building. He has completed his Bachelors Architecture from BITS, Mesra and Masters in City Planning from IIT Kharagpur. Ar. Shweta Ray
Shweta Ray researches on alternative building technologies, urban spatial infrastructure planning. She also investigates on climate responsive architecture, history and theory of architecture. She completed her Masters in City Planning from IIT Kharagpur in 2016. She worked in reputed organizations in New Delhi and Nagpur on a good variety of projects. She is deeply inclined towards academics and is involved in teaching for last few years. Her dedication towards students motivates them to become a better professional. Ar. Soutrik Ray
Soutrik Ray believes the role of an architect is not simply a problem solver or a designer. An architect should be cultural, environmental and spatial detective who investigates and directs growth. He focuses on urban design, construction and environment. He has years of experience of working on projects in New Delhi, Kolkata and various places. His key interests are social, cultural and environmental investigation, architectural and urban design, environmental planning and sustainable development, vernacular practices, phenomenology and interactive community spaces, conflict management, planning, politics and land reforms. His passion for architecture drives the creative energy in the students.

Ar. Swati Chakraborty
Swati Chakraborty researches on history of architecture, creative expression in design, concept development and planning. Gold medalist in Science Olympiad, she has a rich work experience of working with architectural firms on variety of projects in Pune and Kolkata. She has also been associated with teaching since few years. She takes deep interest in extra-curricular activities like debate and music. Apart from being an architect, she is involved in paintings, craft works that includes mainly turning waste material into some creative things. Her multi-faceted interests present students with diverse activities related to architecture. She completed her Bachelor in Architecture from Dr. D. Y. Ar. Sankha Subhra Nath
Sankha Subhra Nath tries to investigate into the socio-cultural landscape of Bengal and its relationship with architecture. He is interested in theory of architecture, construction and design. He is currently researching on the religious architecture of Bengal. He has worked in Kolkata and New Delhi for several years in various projects from small scale residential projects to large scale housing, institutional and commercial projects. He is interested in grounds-up approach towards architecture. His interest in history and local culture make students aware of their environment and cultural heritage. He has completed his B. Deepak Kumar is deeply interested in modern construction techniques, materials and socio-cultural aspects of architectural. He has many years of professional experience in the field of architecture. He has practiced in Nagpur and Dhanbad. He is involved in many projects of residential to commercial to institutional nature. He translates his real world experiences in the classroom. He tries to impart advanced knowledge in construction to students. His knowledge in construction and socio-cultural aspects of architecture enhances the practical knowledge of the students.
He completed B. Arch from Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Sciences, Ramtek, Nagpur University.
